Providence UMC celebrated our veterans this Sunday morning November 16, with a stirring and emotional service highlighting the sacrifice and courage of the men who served our country in many of the conflicts that have defined this nation. All of us in the Providence community thank all of our veterans and those active duty servicemen for their sacrifices.

We especially wish to thank Gayle and Emory Rush who tirelessly make this service a reality every year. A job well done.

After the Veterans service this morning, the Providence cooks swung into action, and set up a marvelous lunch with Turkey, dressing, and vegetables galore. As always a great time was had by all, and we thank everyone that brought food, and helped with the set up.
